True Teachers

There are lot of things in our life that we, the grown ups or so called adults don't realize and appreciate in life just because we are grown up. We don't have time, we don't have energy, we don't have the right mind set to appreciate what we have with us. As and when we grow up, We slowly loose the right attitude to appreciate life. Sometimes this makes me think if growing up itself is a sin by itself.

To understand and appreciate everything around us we should learn from Kids, small little ones around us. These kids can treat everyone around them equally. They are not biased with anything or anyone. They speak their heart & that's why they speak truth. They are able to treat everyone equally as their mind and heart is pure. They are innocent. As and when we start growing up, we start loosing our innocence. Cunningness slowly replaces the innocence. Some people justify it as being smart. I would still call it innocence. It is a debatable topic by itself. What ever it is, when we grown up we loose innocence.

Kids get happiness just by looking at the sky, star or moon. We cannot get the same amount of happiness as kids get. Counter agrument would be that kids are yet to see other things in life, which we have seen & so they find happiness looking at sky, star or moon. I don't tend to agree on this. Yes, when you become one amongst the kids around you, you can find the same happiness they find in seeing the sky, stars or moon.
Kids can find happiness when we have guests at home. Kids are true teachers. They teach you to find happiness in simple things in life, they teach you to treat people equally, they teach you to smile. Kids smile about 200 times a day on average while adults smile 62 times a day (women) or 8 times a day (men) on an average. Isn't too sad that we cannot even smile as kids do. Kids teach you that loving anyone is much easier than hating anyone. They teach you to speak the truth. They teach you not to worry about future. They teach you that you need to do what you like to do. They teach you to go back to your child hood days & enjoy rain like the way we did in child hood days. They are true teachers in all sense. We teach them lot of things in life to them. But we don't realize how much we can learn from them.

When we are kids, all of us spend time just looking at fingers & smile everytime we look at our own fingers. As we grow up we decorate our fingers with finger rings from gold, platinum & Diamond, still unable to appreciate and smile like the way we did when we were small just looking at fingers. Is it only because we are grown up? We can still learn to smile looking at our own finger by learning from these true teachers :)

I am trying to find true teachers with any kid around me...Are you with me?
