Change

People change, priorities change, thinking changes with time. That's the rule of nature and it has to continue this way.

Grand parents of our generations typically told that they had a very tough life in bringing up kids. Post independence era in India was tough & that lot of families typically had to struggle to make their living. Getting right education to kids was very tough and so not many could afford to send their kids for higher educations or masters etc.

I know when we were young my parents had a defined goal of getting us educated and they worked towards it. They retired as happy individuals with their children well educated who would stand on their own foot and finally get their children married off. After they retire, typically, finally they would build a house with all their savings and lived happily ever after.

Now, the priorities have changed for us. Our generation not only think of educating their children and getting them settled in life...We also aim at owing a site, a flat in an apt, an independent house, a lavish car, an extra site for investment purposes, some money to play with at share market, good money to spend at shopping malls on weekend...what not?? list grows... I am not saying this is not right nor am I saying this is right...I am trying to bring out the drastic difference in generations... This is the rule of nature & will continue this way I suppose... I wonder, what would life look like when our kids grow up...will have to wait and watch...

Priorities changes continuously... Some one said it right. Only change is constant...
When we get up in the morning priority would be to get the kids ready so that they can reach school in time...as soon as the kids reach school, our priority switches to "how can the beat the traffic & reach office asap". As soon as we reach office, it switches to how quickly and efficiently can I complete my work...as the sun thinks of retiring from day's long work, our priority switches from office work to how quickly I get back home...when we reach home, how to make use of the time effectively so as to spend quality time with kids and with family members...as time elapses, thinking about dinner would take priority followed by how quickly we can get to sleep so as to cope with next day's schedule...

In the nutshell we need to quickly adapt to change...I realize that priority changes, people change, weather change...everything on earth changes...Dynosarus which was a huge animal could not adapt to change & so it could not survive....Cockroach which is so small could adapt to all extreme conditions has its omni presence even now...if we don't adapt to changes, changes in priority, changes in life, changes in person...changes that happen in life on day today basis, we will soon take the place of dynosaur...

So my stupid brain....Adapt....Adapt to changes :)
